We are pledged to the letter and spirit of U.S. policy for the achievement of equal housing opportunity throughout the nation.
Our Commitment
RealtorFinder is committed to providing equal housing opportunity to all people. We fully comply with the federal Fair Housing Act (42 U.S.C. §§ 3601–3619) and all applicable state and local fair housing laws.
We do not discriminate in the provision of or participation in our services on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, familial status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
The Fair Housing Act
The Fair Housing Act prohibits discrimination in housing-related transactions — including the sale, rental, and financing of housing — based on:
- Race or color
- National origin
- Religion
- Sex (including sexual orientation and gender identity under current HUD guidance)
- Disability
- Familial status (having children under 18)
Many states and localities extend these protections further. RealtorFinder complies with all applicable local fair housing laws wherever we operate.
Realtor Conduct Standards
All real estate professionals using RealtorFinder agree, as a condition of participation, to comply fully with the Fair Housing Act and applicable state laws. Licensed realtors on our platform are bound by their state licensing requirements and the National Association of Realtors® Code of Ethics, both of which prohibit discriminatory conduct.
RealtorFinder reserves the right to remove any realtor from our platform who engages in discriminatory conduct, makes discriminatory statements, or otherwise violates fair housing law. Violations may be reported to the relevant state real estate commission and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
Seller Obligations
Sellers using RealtorFinder to list their property may not instruct, suggest, or imply to any realtor that the seller wishes to engage in discriminatory practices in connection with the sale of the property. Any such instructions are void and unenforceable, and may result in removal from the platform.
Accessibility
RealtorFinder is committed to making our platform accessible to people with disabilities. If you experience difficulty using our website and need assistance, please contact us at support@realtorfinder.net.
